Home and School Minutes
Welcome and Introduction
Steph Rogovin welcomed and thanked everyone for coming. The previous minutes were approved by Sheetal Patel and Kim Spence.
Principal Report

Reading Report
Mrs Milks was unable to attend. Mrs Martin said RIF Day was a success and everything went smoothly.
Treasurer Report
There is lots of money coming in from funwear. There were many orders placed. Opt out money totals $1430. The fall fundsraiser totaled $2800. The Halloween party made $43. Staci also spoke to the 6th grade committee news. She said that was going well and the car wash totaled $600 and Kid stuff was wrapping up.
Fundraising
Lisa Correale couldn’t make it but the fundraiser pick up is tomorrow 11/12. We will be looking for a new fundraiser next year. The art to remember orders should be in by 11/19 for the holidays. We can still place orders past that but wont get in time for holidays.
Wendys night is Tuesday the 18th.
Past Activities
The Halloween Party went very well. The kids had a blast. The costume contest needs to be re-vamped. Is there a reason for the sign in? It caused a large back up to come in. We will discuss this in the future.
Upcoming Activities
Picture re-takes are this Thursday. The frosty fest had the 1st meeting last night. Changes are being made this year. There will not be a kids shopper shop during the day due to our location. The gym needs to be set up on Friday during the day.
K-3 night. Karen Rothman is running again and is scheduled for 2/6.
Lip Sync is 2/20 at AM Kulp
May Fair is 5/16 and the board is discussing changing this activity as there is no one to chair the event and it is a big undertaking.
Committee News
Coordinating Council-Diane Kortz said at the October meeting Gwen Pescatore spoke about the parent camp at Knapp Elementary. It is this Saturday and prents can still sign up to attend.
Fresh start fitness is a company that comes out to do assemblies and we discussed the possibility of them coiming to Hatfield.
There was also a big discussion about after school activities and clubs. Who facilitates the clubs? Teachers or parents? And in some cases, the kids pay for the clubs. Next meeting is 11/19.
NPAGE game night is this Friday night if anyone would like to attend. There will be a presentation in the library for the parents while the kids play games.
6th Grade Committee will have a meeting after the holidays. There is $1900 in a holding fund for future use. We discussed the possibility of using it for playground equipment.
We made $1044 in box tops.

There will be no meeting in December.
