Brand New and Very Exciting Lunchtime Club Launches next Tuesday the 17th January – Comic Characters Club

Our new Graphic Novel Book Club will meet for the first time on Tuesday at lunchtime in the library, to discuss graphic novels and comics. We shall also be taking part, for the first time, in The Excelsior Award. This is the only nationwide book award for graphic novels and manga - where young people aged 11-16 decide the winner by rating each book as they read it! Eight graphic novels are selected for the shortlist and it now attracts over 250 schools from all over the UK and Ireland. Our new club will be a fantastic way to pick up new graphic novels and try out different styles, writers, and stories. YOU are invited to Join Mrs Toonen and Mrs Bodiam on Tuesday in The Comic Characters Book Club for the books, the banter and a chance to read something new. From 1.10pm in the library on Tuesday.
