- A creative rationale and innovative approach to dance making that has the potential to:
- challenge conventions popular thinking (theatrical, physical, social, political, philosophical…etc)
- provoke critical dialogue
- be manifestly audacious
- A well planned creative and production process
- The significance of the impact the residency will have on the artists career development
- Well planned proposed contributions to the Dancehouse program (eg. mentoring, workshops, exchangeswith local dance groups and educational institutions) suited to the artists skills and career stage

- 1 page summary of biographical material for all artists
- DVD of relevant material (15 mins max)
- A stamped, self-addressed envelope for return of material

To be eligible, you must be a Dancehouse Member (or become one) and be an Australian resident for taxation purposes.
