Gold Team members that are working 8th grade back to school night should report to gym a/b @ 5:30 dressed nicely for the evening.

Today (Wednesday) is the first musical rehearsal for Dear Edwina. Please arrive to the auditorium after school, and please feel free to pack a snack to eat before rehearsal begins. Rehearsal ends at 5pm. Thank you all!

A reminder to all cross-country runners; the first meet of the season will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at Welsh Valley. Please remember to bring your uniform top and black shorts to school tomorrow (Thursday) along with your running shoes. If you did not get a uniform on Monday see Mrs. Young or Mr. Wagner in Gym D before the meet to pick one up.

Just a reminder to all 6th grade band and orchestra students, that also take chorus; we have our after school class tomorrow (Thursday) at 2:40pm. Please be on time.

Audition Materials for the Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Fords, Brass Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble are now available. Please see Mr. Gittelman for your copy.

Tickets for Activities Night will be on sale today (Wednesday), tomorrow (Thursday), and Friday in the cafeteria for just $5.00. Tickets will also be available at the door Friday night, but buy yours early and avoid the lines. Wear your Haverford red and gold and come out for a fun night of open gym, board games, dancing, and food from 7-9 here at your HMS. See Mrs. Young in room 202 with any questions.

Attention all students who would like to participate in Tech Crew this year for the musical! We are having an informational meeting regarding tech crew on Tuesday, Oct. 6th in the auditorium from 2:45-3:30. At this meeting we will review Tech Crew expectations, the schedule, about the musical, and collect email addresses. Tech Crew is in charge of Lights, Sound, and technical support of the musical, which is Dear Edwina Jr. We hope to see you at our meeting! Any questions please see Mrs. Langley in room 242.

The 8th grade boys soccer team held on to win there season opener over Springton Lake 1 to 0. Sam Garrison scored the lone goal off of a beautiful assist from Sean "The Irishman" O'Donnell. On the other side of the ball, the defense and keeper Joe Mirra shut down Springton's attack. Our next game is home on Friday against Radnor.

The 7th grade boy's soccer team began their season with a resounding 6-0 shutout over Springton Lake yesterday. Goals were scored by Nick D'Achille, Phil Udo Inyang, Chip Campbell, Nick Trolio, Brendan Dixon, and Jake Coneys. Quinby Dahl came up big in the net.
