Valentine’s Day

Sharon:Oh, man! Here comes Sherman. I hope he doesn’t ask me out on a date.

Lisa:I wouldn’t worry about it. Sherman hasn’t dated for years!

Sharon:Oh, oh. Here he comes. (SHERMAN ASKS LISA OUT.)

Lisa:You said yes? To Sherman? Why?

Sharon:I didn’t want to hurt his feelings.

Lisa:But you don’t really want to go out with him.

Sharon:He would have a broken heart! I’m not that cruel.

Lisa:It’s more cruel to raise his hopes and then break up with him.

Sharon:Okay, okay. You’re right. And anyway, I think he’s just infatuated with me – he doesn’t even know me.

Lisa:It’s puppy love.

Sharon:Yikes. Puppy love sure is hard to deal with.

Lisa:You’ve got that right. Well, I can’t say I love to tell people I won’t date them either…once I dated someone I didn’t like, too.

Sharon:Oh, good. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Lisa:That’s for sure. Well, Sherman or no, I hope you have a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Sharon:You, too, Lisa!
