I would like to represent our institution at the 2017 Adirondack Solutions User Group (ASUG) Conference, September18 and 19 in Philadelphia. Although we already benefit from using these software solutions, I can foresee the need and opportunity to further enhance our efficiencies and improve our day-to-day operations.I believe that by attending ASUG this year, I will walk away with new ideas to help us conquer our operational challenges and continue to deliver outstanding service to our students.

My attendance would benefit our college/university by ensuring effective use of our investment in Adirondack Solutions’ technology and software. The conference features both functional and technical programs that will enhance my professional development and make me a more valuable asset to the institution. By attending, I have the ability to pick up tips to improve my skills and boost my productivity, resulting in an efficiency gain of potentially two hours a week, or more than 100 hours a year. And, if I can share those improvements with the rest of our organization, the return on our conference investment will be multiplied.

The 2017ASUG Conference will focus on the following areas:

  • Learning new AS skills during hands-on workshops and tutorials.

  • Helping other AS users by presenting our own valuable skills and techniques.
  • Discussing the latest software enhancements with AS software developers.
  • Learning about future innovations under development.
  • Requesting what WE want in future releases

The conference cost will be the $675 registration fee plus travel expenses and a few days out of the office. Compared to the time and money we’ve invested on our applications, this is a minimal expense that would result in increased productivity and more effective use of our software resources.
