1.0Chairpersons Address

Dear Parent

I am pleased to present you with the Board of Governors report for the school year 2015/16.

This was another busy and challenging year. There was a challenging Inspection Report in the Autumn of 2015 which the staff have addressed with determination and commitment. We provide children with many enriching and rewarding planned activities, high quality teaching and learning. A wide range of opportunities are provided by the staff for the holistic development of each child.

I would like to express my appreciation to the Principal, Acting Principal and to all the staff for their commitment and dedication to the School. I should also like to record my thanks to John Campbell for all his guidance and support.

We also have excellent support staff who provide all those vital services necessary to run our school and I wish to thank them for all their efforts to keep the school running effectively and efficiently for our children.

We are fortunate at this time to have such a dedicated and talented staff to work with our children and, on behalf of the Board of Governors and Trustees I want to thank them, for all the effort they put into providing a stable and stimulating environment in which our children can grow.

I also want to thank you the parents for your on-going and generous support for all the activities provided by the School, and I look forward to your continued interest and support for our work.

We are fortunate to have such a dedicated Board of Governors and I deeply appreciate each one of them for their help in the management of the School business throughout a challenging year. I would also like to thank Fr Kearns in particular for his leadership of the school throughout the year.

I hope you find this report helpful and should you wish to have any further information about any aspect of it, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Yours faithfully,

Tony McCusker
