PRODUCT SPECIFICATION SHEET
· Manufactured from fully intumescent mineral fibre material, which expands to over 3 times its original volume in the event of a fire to crush the PVC conduit - sealing all air, flame and smoke paths inside and around the conduit.
· Meets all the requirements of the UK Building Regulations.
· Tested and approved by Chiltern International Fire to BS 476: Pt.20 & Pt.22: 1987 and the guidelines of EN1366-3 (Fire test assessment No. Chilt/A05153. Duration of effective protection 132 minutes integrity).
· Two hour fire and smoke ‘stop’ through all common wall constructions and partitions.
· Provide a cold smoke seal as well as thermal and acoustic insulation in their passive state.
· Maintains the existing thermal insulation and vapour seal.
· Quickly and easily installed simply by sliding the sleeve over the trunking and placing in position inside the firewall or partition.
· Allows the thermal movement of the pipe or conduit.
· Can easily be retrofitted, without disturbing cables or trunking by slicing and opening the sleeve and fitting it around the trunking and resealing with the tape provided.
· Suitable for a wide range of metal and PVC pipes and conduit.
· Can be used for non-electrical pipe.
· Can easily be cut with a standard padsaw.
· Non toxic and maintenance free.
