75 Vale Carr, Rotherham & Son, Coventry : A late Regency domed case mantel clock of large proportion, the circular bevelled Roman numeric dial stamped "Tempus Fugit" fitted in a domed mahogany and part ebonised case with metal stringing and metal lattice work to the side with lion's head ring carrying handles, the whole raised on orb supports, with open movement to the back signed to the gilt metal back plate and reading Vale & Co, Coventry with a part stencilled outer rim (visibly distressed). 53cms high, 37cms wide, 11-inch dial.
76 A Zambian Bemba tribal drum with an animal hide top, the shaped body heavily carved with masks and stylised lions on circular foot, 45cms high.
77 A highly decorative Victorian style gilt metal mantel clock centred with a gentleman on horseback above a circular Roman numeric enamelled dial with eight day movement, the body heavily decorated with applied scrolls, gadrooning, garlands etc. on a gilt wood stand and ebonised base, the base 34cms high. Total height approx. 67cms.
