SOUTHERN INDIANA SPIKEs
Youth Baseball and Softball Teams
The Southern Indiana Spikes is asking for your support for the upcoming 2017 season. We will be participating in numerous tournaments, both local and distant. Our team rosters will include youth ages 8U thru 18U. The coaching staffs are all volunteers who dedicate numerous hours to insure the success of the program. Statistics have shown that involvement in extracurricular activities, like Baseball and Softball, benefits academic achievement, increases teamwork, goal achievement & problem solving skills. It also promotes better health and self-confidence in the individual. We are mentoring our community leaders of tomorrow.
Participating in a sport at this level requires a lot of financial support, which is where you can help out. Tournament fees can range from $450 - $2,500 per event. Other costs will include, but not limited to; uniforms, insurance, team equipment, umpire fees, and first aid supplies. The players and their parents are responsible for gloves, bats, helmets, transportation, meals, and overnight accommodations (if necessary). The cost for the parents could be from $2000-$3000 per player for the season. We expect the total team expenses (excluding parent expenses) to be around $16,000. Each team is planning fundraisers, but those alone will not cover the entire cost.
This is where we need your help by becoming a sponsor. Sponsorship provides you or your business with many benefits. Here is a list of some of the things that will happen when you decide to offer your support.Your business will be listed on the Spikes website for unlimited exposure. Your business will be proudly displayed at our indoor facility where hundreds of families will see it. Your name will be put on handouts given out throughout the year to players, parents, coaches & fans. Our coaches will encourage patronizing of your business at every opportunity.
And most importantly, you will be positively affecting the lives of our youth by keeping them involved in positive, family oriented activities and away from the negatives that plague our society today.Thank you for considering our organization as a part of your charitable giving.
