This week we will be focusing on:
Phonics
· Letters: L, F, B and the AI sound
· Site Words: leg, lips, help, plan; fit, fat, puff, soft; bag, big, cub, crab; rain, tail, paid, snail
· Math
· Identifying numbers 11-30
· Symmetrical designs
· Counting by 2’s
· Acting and drawing out “some, some went away” stories
· Counting pennies
Language Arts
· Units 6 – Transportation (cars, buses, airplanes, boats etc)
Reminders
· There will be two performances for the Spring Program. All students must stay for both. Blue t-shirts for the program will be sent home today 4/24!
· Students may come to school dressed in PE clothes on Friday 5/5 for Discovery Day.
· I ask that you please have your child keep toys at home unless it is share day!
· I would like to plan one more field trip to Kids Space in June. Please contact me if you would like to chaperone! (must have all auto insurance and virtus paperwork submitted to the business office)
· Pack two snacks for Fridays!
· Do not forget to pack utensils in your child’s lunches! / Useful Links
