Cullman Electric Line Extension Policy Summary

All Services
Cullman Electric Cooperative’s point of electrical service delivery shall be within five (5) feet of the point on, or adjacent to, the structure to be served which is nearest to the Cooperative’s existing or proposed facilities.
Home
The structure or dwelling shall be a long term fixed type residential load
Current Overhead Cost per Foot = $11.82
Current Underground Cost per Foot = $22.00
Aid to Construction Required
- For line extensions costing $4355.00 or less, no ATC is required
- For line extensions costing more than $4355.00 but less than $8710.00, ATC calculated at 50% of the cost-per-foot values for the amount in excess of $4355.00.
- For line extensions costing more than $8710.00, ATC required as calculated in “2” above plus 100% of the cost per foot values for the amount in excess of $8710.00.
Mobile Home
If the mobile home (campers and travel trailers not included) is to be the primary residence of the party requesting service and that party owns the mobile home, owns the property and has appropriate water/sewage, the line will be extended as described under Home.
Mobile Home
If the party does not: intend for the mobile home to be their primary residence, own the property, have appropriate water/sewage, list the service in his/her name, ATC charges will be tallied using the miscellaneous portion of this policy
Miscellaneous Service
Workshops, barns, grain bins, electric fence chargers, well pumps, camp sites or other similar type services: first 100 feet at no cost (NOTE: See All Services), all footage beyond 100 feet will be a non-refundable ATC @ $11.82 per foot overhead, and @22.00 per foot underground
Member must secure all easements and cut all right of way for new construction
Members requesting line relocations are responsible for 100% of costs associated with the relocation.
