2017 Concert Ticket Order Form
This is your opportunity to purchase advance, discounted concert tickets for the 40th BC Interior Jazz Festival. This is the only way to guarantee seating for your performers, director and chaperones. These discounted tickets are $15 each, and this offer is extended only to participants of the festival.
If you wish to purchase discounted tickets for any of these performances, please fill out this form and mail it with a cheque payable to the B.C. Interior Jazz Festival to the address above. When you arrive at the festival, your tickets will be waiting at the registration desk, or can be held for your group at the concert venues. As there are a limited number of discounted tickets issued, you need to respond no later than Friday, April 7th, 2017. Tickets are very limited for the Wednesday and Thursday night shows and may sell out before the end of December 2016. Purchase early to avoid disappointment!
Thursday, April 20th: Festival Jam Session and Concert featuring the Craig Thomson Sextet with Brad Turner
Venue: The Forum Kelowna
As on Wednesday night, Thursday will feature a free, all-ages jam session from 6pm to 8pm, and will be followed by a ticketed show featuring Juno-award winning trumpeter Brad Turner from Vancouver, and festival coordinator Craig Thomson on saxophones accompanied by a selection of the Okanagan's finest musicians.
Friday, April 21st: Jazz Masters’ Concert featuring vocalist and pianist Carol Welsman
Venue: Kelowna Community Theatre
This year's Jazz Masters' concert features Juno award-winning vocalist and pianist Carol Welsman(this year's featured artist), Yamaha saxophone artist Dr. Greg Yasinitskyfrom Washington State University, Juno award-winning trumpeter Brad Turner from Capilano University in Vancouver, vocalist/trumpeter Rich Sumstad from Ontario, vocalist Janet Warren from Vancouver, vocalist Kinga Heming from Kelowna, the Michael Garding Big Band, and the Okanagan All-Star rhythm section of Neville Bowman (piano), Sean Bray (guitar), Bernie Addington (bass), and Scott Gamble (drums).
