Just Kick It for the Kids at CBC

The Student Occupational Therapy Association is hosting a kickball tournament! All of the funds raised at this event will go directly to Camp Boggy Creek, a year-round camp for children with life threatening and chronic illnesses. In addition to playing your games, there will be concessions, raffles, and local businesses at the event.
Each team is allowed 10-15 players on their team. Please note: only 10 players will be permitted on the playing field at one time, but there will be free substitution. All players are eligible to kick throughout the game. Use these high numbers of players to your advantage and recruit as many awesome kickball players from your organization or group of friends as you can! There is no regulation on the gender ratio of the team. This will be a single-elimination style tournament, but please keep in mind that this is meant to be a fun event to raise money for the kids!
The registration fee is $12 per individual team member. On the day of the tournament, each team member will receive a t-shirt in a color specific to their team to wear for their games, as well as 2 raffle tickets for various raffle prizes that have been donated from companies in the Gainesville area. Additional raffle tickets will be available on the day of the event. Cash or checks are acceptable. Please make checks payable to our Treasurer, Shannon Plunkett or turn in exact change. Registration packets will not be accepted without full payment included. Registration money is non-refundable.
A google doc to sign up for shirt color preferences will be e-mailed to the captain of the team. Colors will be assigned on a first come first serve basis and the document will be updated frequently so that it remains up to date. Simply comment on the document with the color you would like and we will do our best to meet your request.
The event will be held at Forest Park, off of SW 20th Avenue across from Canopy Apartments, conveniently on the 20 and 21 bus routes. Registration will start at 9 AM and the games will begin promptly at 10 AM. Upon signing in, the captain will receive the shirts for their team as well as a printed bracket with all of the information needed for the day.
