Policy /- SDS Bill – P&P provided oral evidence to Health & Social Care Committee (see agenda Item 4)
- Are you ready for personalisation?Event (Inverness) For Providers based in the Highland region with Highland Community Care Forum.
- SDS & Children Event – Policy event planned in June for Providers of Children’s services in partnership with InControl and Scottish Government.
- Scottish Government SDS Guidance & Regulations group (see agenda Item 7) Providers aspirations.
Joint work /
- Stepping Out on the SDS Journey Event – Delivered in partnership with Scottish Care.
- Brokerage Event - Joint policy event with SDSS on SDS and brokerage planned for August 2012.
- Work with IRISS – Evidence Explorers Group – gathering evidence about the individual’s experience of SDS, identifying barriers to SDS. Workgroups to focus on Mental Health, Ethnicity & Equality and Human Rights.
Practice Exchange /
- Marketing & SDS Event – The event in June is fully booked with nearly 90 particpants signed up to attend. Service users, a provider and social marketing company will all be speaking at the event.
- Systems Change Event – Planned for September.
- Personalisation Leads Meet up – Regular meetings for SDS leads working with providers. First meeting planned for July.
- Knowledge Exchange – Planned programme of regular meetings.
Commissioning for Outcomes /
- Falkirk Council - The project is now looking at outcomes focussed commissioning for foster care (Falkirk).
- City of Edinburgh Council – Disability Providers meeting planned for 31st May on roll out of SDS and commissioning.
- Financialising Outcomes Event – Possible plans for event in September.
DotComUnity /
- Paper for discussionto consider whether to continue with DCU or revisit alternative options. (see agenda Item 6)

A new version of the workforce survey has been circulated to providers. It is hoped that this shorter version will produce a better response rate.
