A complete packet of the following information must be received by June 5th, 2017 ($65.00 application fee). Early applications received by May 15, 2017, will qualify for a discounted registration fee ($35.00 application fee). Applications will not be considered until ALL items listed below are received.

The total cost of the program is $3,900.00. This is the lowest tuition for principal certification in the state of Louisiana. Tuition discounts and payment plans are available.

2.  Résumé or Curriculum Vitae
3. One short essay (not to exceed 5, double-spaced, typed pages) that covers your:
·  Philosophy on leadership and ethics
·  Philosophy on teaching and learning
4. Letters of recommendation from three professional associates, one of which must be from someone within the organization/system in which you currently work. Letters must address the applicant’s teaching and/or leadership qualities. Letters may be submitted electronically or hard copy.
5. Official, unopened transcripts from each college or university attended.
·  All applicants must have been awarded, at minimum, a baccalaureate degree. (We prefer a minimum GPA of 3.0, on a four-point scale)
6. GRE assessment with a minimum score of 1000 or equivalent score on an equivalent standardized test (e.g. PRAXIS, LSAT, GMAT)
·  Applicants with an earned graduate degree are NOT required to submit these scores
7. Copy of current teaching certificate
·  A Louisiana Type B or Level 2 or comparable out-of-state certificate is required unless the applicant is interested solely in charter school leadership
OR
Candidates interested in charter school leadership may submit proof of 3 years of successful leadership experience within an organization

If an applicant can document that s/he is eligible to hold a valid certificate, this documentation may be sufficient to fulfill this requirement
