Pastor’s Corner

Dear Church family,

We are blessed to have a new Children's Coordinator...Mrs. Michelle Kelly! She will begin July 1st, 2017. She and her husband, Dain, are members of FUMC and I am sure many of you already know them. They have a beautiful daughter, Sophie. I will be introducing her Sunday am in bothservices.

Nine of our youth are at Bluelake enjoying a week of camp. They left Monday morning and will be back Saturday. One or more will be highlighting theiradventure in both worship services. Come and hear all about it.

I want to extend a huge thank you to all who have graciously signed up to volunteer for Ministry and Missions! We already have 20 volunteers and need about ten more. So pleasebe in prayerabout this new and exciting ministry. Contact Polly Kneiss for more information.

Our church is growing! We welcomed Steve James to ourcommunity of faithlast Sunday. And already he has volunteered to join our choir! Thanks be to God.

Thanks from my Mother, Louise Pumphrey for all your prayers! I thank you, too!

May each of you have a safe 4th of July and enjoy friends, family and perhaps some home made ice cream! God Bless you!

Grace and peace,

Dr. Trish Bruner

Ministry’s &

Outreach

In the previous church-wide survey, our church congregation chose the following areas as our first priorities:

Attending to:

The elderly

The homebound

The sick and hospitalized

Those living alone

Follow up for local visitors/new members/members

no longer attending

At this time, we have a minimum of 32 people in the above categories. You will be given a different person each month to visit; each one needs your brotherly kindness and love. Men, women, youth and couples are needed to share in visitation. You can work out any schedule that will fit your individual needs.

If you are willing to visit one person each month, please contact the office at (850) 638-0010 or Polly Kneiss at

(850) 849-6208.
