Elizabethan Times from A to Z
English 1 – Romeo and Juliet
For this project, you will be assigned a letter of the alphabet and be asked to research three things from the Elizabethan Times that start with that letter. They can be anything that people did, wore, saw, participated in, believed in, and were familiar with that made the Elizabethan age what it was.
People and terms from Romeo and Juliet are allowed, but only one per letter. The more we can learn about this time period, the better.
After researching three things that begin with your letter, you will be asked to create a page for the alphabet book with a picture and a typed paragraph for each of the things you researched. Each page needs to be uniform, so we can put the book together at the end. Paragraphs should be right aligned and pictures make up the rest of the page:
/ S
Snowflake
(paragraph 1)
Sun
(paragraph 2)
Smiley Face
(paragraph 3)
Pictures can either be drawn or printed from the internet. Paragraphs need to be at least three sentences in length and tell factual information about the terms chosen.
References need to be stated at the bottom of the page in a smaller font or on the back of the page citing where all the information was found.
