Guidelines and Entry Form

PLEASE READ THE NEWUPDATED SPECIFICATIONS CAREFULLYTO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTMENTS.

Delivery Of Prints:

Entry forms are required to be in by the closing date. Images are to be brought to the Kiama Fire Station on the first day of the exhibition between12:30 and 1:30 pm for hanging. If you can't make it between these times, please ask someone to take them on your behalf. Entries will not be accepted after 1:30pm. You will be required to unwrap your images and take your bubble wrap home except for reserves.

If you do not wish to sell your print, please write NFS in the price column.

  1. Entry Fee - $20.00 per exhibitor, or $40 for a family. You must be a financial member to enter the exhibition.
  1. Each exhibitor must man at least 2 sittingsin the week of the exhibition. Unless you are unable to do sodue to other commitments
  2. If you have any queries regarding your prints, please ask before printing and framing them.
  1. Number of framed prints per person – 6 (3 will be hung)
  1. Maximum Overall Size -24x20 inch 60x50cm(applies to framed print, canvas and metal)
  1. Panoramas (Maximum overall size 40x12 inch 100x30cm) only 6 placesPLEASE SEE NATHAN BEFORE PRINTING
  1. Prints must be ready to be hung. Taut string or cord is to be attached to the back of the frames in a secure manner. Using D hooks. No wire or thumbtacks are to be used. No nylon string and no damaged frames. Failure to comply will result in photos not being hung.
  1. Prints need to be mounted correctly so there are NO WRINKLES OR BUBBLES in the print, otherwise they won't be hung. These rules will be strictly adhered to.
  1. No plastic frames as they can come apart and fall when hung. Please ensure your frames are not damaged in any way.
  1. Glass and mattes must be clean, inside and out, with no smear marks. Backs of frames should be sealed with framing tape.
  1. All images are to be clearly and neatly labeled with the author’s name, image number and title, and club name on the back and wrapped well in bubble wrap, which will also be labeled. Number your images from 1-6 to correspond withyour entry form. If the author fails to comply, this may result in your first choice not being hung.
  1. The entry form below is to be handed in by the due date with your entry fee, withthe sale price, or NFS (not for sale) on the form.
  1. Minimum price $80 (please no selling below cost or at cost as this make it unfair on other artist)

At the end of the exhibition, please return with your bubble wrap to pick up your prints at 4:00pm on the last day of the Exhibition (Wednesday 21st March 2018). If you cannot be available at 4pm on collection/pack-up day to collectyour own photos, please ask someone to collect them on your behalf. Prints will not be brought to the Bowling Club.

**Entering the Exhibition is at your own risk. All care will be taken to protect your images. However accidents do happen and the club does not take any responsibility for damages incurred.

**There will be no sales of extra items such as cards, calendars, matted prints etc.

TAKE PRIDE IN THE PRESENTATION OF YOUR WORK.

Don’t submit anything for salethat you wouldn’t purchase yourself.

It reflects back on you as well as your club.
