Time: Monday – Friday 9:30 AM Start

§ Over 19 years of age
§ Identify yourself as having a problem with alcohol or other drugs
§ Clean and sober the day of the group
§ Well enough to attend
§ Wanting safety and support
This service may not be for you if:
§ You are in immediate need of detox
Purpose:
§ Support
§ Place to check in about what is working
§ Education to people in withdrawal and early recovery
Services Offered:
§ Communication
§ What to expect in early recovery
§ Stress management
§ Goal setting/Problem solving
Please Note:
§ Drop in appointments 5 days a week are not gender specific
§ Many individuals have reported better outcomes from also attending:
o Gender specific Men’s Insight (formerly Men’s Codependency)
or Women’s Connections Groups
o Quiet Moments and Mind-Body Wellness Groups

This service is free and welcomes all members of our diverse community
Early Recovery Program
What: Support and education for those in early recovery from substance abuse. These are 15 minute appointment slots.
Gender Specific Groups
For: Adults wishing to rebalance their lives through an increased awareness of self and how one relates to others. The Men’s group does not run in July and August.
Quiet Moments (*Note: This is not a “talking” group)
For: Adults who want to learn skills to deal with upsetting emotions.
Mind-Body Wellness
For: Adults who would benefit from learning and practicing stress reduction techniques.
Smart Recovery
What: A self-empowering, abstinence based, self-help support group (NOT a 12-step program) for both men and women based on concepts of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.
Library
For: Adults who would like to borrow Mental Health and Substance Use related material.
Cost: There is no fee for any of the above noted programs or groups
Drop-in: No pre-registration required for any of the noted programs or groups
