The Summer of 2015 is shortly coming to a close and the new school year will soon begin. It is an exciting time for all of us. Not only does school resume, but so does Sigma Alpha Rho (SAR). That means your son will once again be attending meetings, planning events and most importantly having fun! During the next few weeks leading up to the Jewish Holidays, you and your son will be hearing a lot from SAR as we attempt to get this 2015-2016 Fraternal Year started with a bang.
One of the goals for 2015-2016 is growth; growth from within and without. In recent years, our SAR Parents have been playing a major role in assisting with that goal and to that end, we understand the need to communicate with you more often and do more events! We plan on doing two events with our Parents in the first half of the year.
First, I am excited to announce that on October 27th, 2015 we will be going to the Philadelphia Flyers game to participate in Jewish Heritage night. The cost of each ticket is $40. We think this is a great opportunity to spend time with your son along with other members of his chapter and other chapters as well as Alumni of SAR. We hope you agree!
Secondly, in November, we will be running a SAR Breakfast/Parent Affair and will be sending information on that later.
To sign up to the Flyers game, you have two options. First, you can go to our website. www.sarfraternity.org and click on the link for the Flyers game and pay via the website or you can email Jason @ and let him know you are going and send a check.
We truly hope you can attend this event with your son and help continue to make his fraternal experience great!
