The Gospel Made Simple

/ 1. Good News! God ______.

John 10:10 (PME) - “(Jesus said) I came that you might have a full life, and that you might have it more abundantly.”

John 3:16 (NASB95) -16 “For God so loved the world , that He gave His only begotten Son , that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (Greek - Lit. “The life of the ages.”)

/ 2. Bad news! ______have sinned.

Romans 3:23 (TLB) -23 Yes, all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious [plan]…

1 John 1:8 (TLB) -8If we say that we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and refusing to accept the truth.

/ 3. Christ died for ______.

Romans 5:8 (NASB95) -8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Life Application Section: “What do we do ‘practically?’”

A. Share the Gospel (based on the above outline)

B. Share your testimony

C. Ask for a response: “Have you ever had a moment like that where you asked Jesus Christ to come into your life as Lord? Will you?

D.Lead them in a simple “faith response” prayer (based on the above outline)

E. If they pray say, “Did you mean every word? If so, know that God now lives in you.”
