The journal entries will be used for creative script writing and as basis for a stand-up comedy monologue project towards the end of the semester. Other projects during the semester will include memorization of monologues and parts to plays, skits, reading of a play, attendance at a play, and other written assignments pertaining to lesson plans. All assignments are due at the beginning of the class period.

Attendance at a play: Each student is required to see 1 live stage production and read 1 approved play script over the course of the semester. We will go as a class to the Fall performance of Roy High School’s production. If students miss this performance, they will have to see another production on their own to fulfill this assignment.

Make-up Work : We encourage all Razorbacks to be responsible in completing assignments and projects on time. When students are not able to finish their assignments by the designated date, the opportunity will remain for them to complete and submit their work within one week of the original due date for a maximum of 70% of the points.

*Concerning late work, teachers reserve the right to work with students on an individual basis that may be less limiting, but not more restrictive than the policy.

Grades will be issued based on the percentage of total points earned in a semester, according to the following scale:

94-100%=A84-86%=B74-76%=C64-66%=D

90-93% =A-80-83%=B-70-73%=C-60-63%=D-
