Directions to Campus

Creighton University is located on the northwest corner of downtown Omaha, Nebraska, and is easily reached by car, bus, train, or plane. St. John’s Church is located at 2500 California Plaza, just west of 24th Street.

Coming by car from the east or west of Omaha, you will probably approach the city via

I-80 East or West. Proceed to the I-480 exchange.

Due to recent river flooding some roads may be closed. Please follow detour signs.

From the East:

1.  Take I-80 West across the Missouri River

2.  Take exit 452 to I-480/Hwy 75 North toward Eppley Airfield/Downtown (get into far right lanes)

3.  Take exit 2A, Dodge/Harney Streets

4.  Turn right onto Douglas (one way east)

5.  Turn left onto 24th Street

6.  Drive under the interstate bridge

From the West:

1.  Take I-80 East

2.  Take exit 452 to I-480/Hwy 75 North toward Eppley Airfield/Downtown (get into far right lanes)

3.  Take exit 2A, Dodge/Harney Streets

4.  Turn right onto Douglas (one way east)

5.  Turn left onto 24th Street

6.  Drive under the interstate bridge

From the North:

1.  Follow I-29 South

2.  Take exit 53B to I-480 West/Highway 6 (taking you over the Missouri River and into Omaha)

3.  Take exit 4 onto Dodge Street (the cross streets will start at 10th Street and go up)

4.  Turn right onto 24th Street

5.  Drive under the interstate bridge

From the South:

1.  Follow I-29 North

2.  Merge with I-80 West (in Council Bluffs, Iowa)

3.  Follow signs for I-29 N (Sioux City, Exit 1A)

4.  Take exit 53B to I-480 West/Highway 6 (taking you over the Missouri River and into Omaha)

5.  Take exit 4 onto Dodge Street (the cross streets will start at 10th Street and go up)

6.  Turn right onto 24th Street

7.  Drive under the interstate bridge

From southern Nebraska:

1.  Follow Highway 75 North (North Omaha Freeway)

2.  Merge with I-480/Highway 75 North toward Eppley Airfield/Downtown (get into far right lanes)

3.  Take exit 2A, Dodge/Harney Streets

4.  Turn right onto Douglas (one way east)

5.  Turn left onto 24th Street

6.  Drive under the interstate bridge

From Eppley Airfield: Eppley Airfield is about a 10-minute drive to Creighton University.

1.  Exit the airport by turning left onto Abbott Drive (heading south approximately 3 miles)

2.  Abbott Drive will turn into Cuming Street (heading west)

3.  Turn left onto 24th Street

4.  Drive under the interstate bridge

Campus Parking

1.  Parking garage on 24th and California streets

2.  Visitors parking lot at 24th and Cass streets

3.  School of Law parking garage on 20th and Cass streets

4.  Parking lot south of the Harper Center
