KPC is located just off Highway 280 in Chelsea

If coming down 280E from Birmingham*, you’ll turn left at the Publix (there’s a Bojangles restaurant right before Publix) and go past the Publix. Turn right on County Rd. 280. Turn left on County Road 461. There should be a sign at this intersection for YMCA Camp Hargis and Girl Scout’s Kanawahala Program Center (KPC). Follow the left fork and signs for KPC. *If coming from 280W, turn right just before the Publix, and then follow the directions above.
We will be using the Chickasaw Bunkhouse, Kitchen and Lodge. To get to the lodge, drive past the main conference center parking lot and up the hill to Chickasaw. You can park by the lodge to unload, but then will need to move your car back down to the main parking area.
If you are coming for the Saturday sessions only, please park in the main parking area.
This is a Girl Scout Camp. Sleeping accommodations are bunkhouse style—each room sleeps 4 in bunk beds. Bathrooms/showers are a short walk away in the Chickasaw Lodge. If you know you’re not an outdoors girl, we’d still love to see you at the retreat.
Meals & Snacks:
Friday night dinner and Saturday lunch are potluck. Everyone contributes a dish to one of these meals and the food is always fantastic! We’ll contact you to arrange which meal you wish to contribute to.
Saturday breakfast will be provided.
Snacks are contributed by everyone. Please bring something to share!

Vendors:
We have space for a few vendors to sell products. The cost is 10% of gross sales made at the retreat. Please let us know if you are interested in being a vendor.
