The art sale 2017
Saturday 2 December until Saturday 6 January
Artists are invited once again to take part in the Christmas Art Sale at the Queen’s Hall, Hexham. This prestigious exhibition could include a wide range of artistic practices: painting, illustration, design, craft and sculpture as well as ceramics and jewellery. This event has proven to be an exciting opportunity for artists both to raise their profile and sell their work.
Guidelines:
ü Only art work not previously shown in the Art Sale will be accepted.
ü All 2D work must be mirror plated ready to hang, works not mirror plated will not be considered for inclusion.
ü Work submitted must be labeled with name, address, title, medium and selling price.
ü Artists may submit a maximum of two works of which one is guaranteed to be exhibited.
ü 30% gallery commission will be charged on all sales (plus VAT ).
ü The risk of damage or loss is the responsibility of the artist, who is therefore advised to arrange adequate insurance cover.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday 7 November 2017. Please return a completed form together with a high resolution image. Unless you are contacted please assume your work has been accepted and will be hung.
Delivery of work to Queen’s Hall:
Tuesday 28 November 10am – 4pm
De-install and collection of unsold work:
Tuesday 9 January between 10am – 4pm
Accepted works must be submitted directly to the Queen’s Hall by Tuesday 28 November before 4pm. Due to the limited time available for hanging work received after 4pm will not be accepted.
