Citizens who would like to address the City Council will have 3 minutes to do so during this period. Written comments may be submitted if a citizen does not wish to speak. Any comments needing or requesting follow-up will be assigned to staff for further action as appropriate after the meeting. Please provide contact information on the sign-up sheet and state your name and phone number when speaking to the Council so later follow-up can take place. The Council respectfully requests that citizens help maintain the decorum of the meeting by not applauding or booing, turning off electronic devices, not engaging in verbal attacks against others or being disrespectful during the proceedings of the meeting.

b.  Approve Resolution 09-143, confirming the City Council appointment of members to serve on the various committees [Tom Steele]

c.  Approve Resolution 09-144, confirming the appointment of Greg Davenport as the Interim City Engineer [Wendell Rigby]

d.  Approve Resolution 09-145, approving the form of the Equipment Lease Agreement with Zions First National Bank, Salt Lake City, Utah, regarding air tanks for the Fire Department, in the amount of $220,000.00 [Janice Larsen]

e.  Approve Ordinance 09-28, amending the West Jordan Municipal Code, Title 3, Chapter 6, Article B, regarding the ‘Sunset Clause’ for the Telecommunication Tax [Councilmember Southworth]

f.  Approve Resolution 09-146, authorizing the Mayor to execute an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Salt Lake County for the purchase of aerial photography from the Salt Lake County Surveyor’s office in an amount not-to-exceed $4,074.21 [Wendell Rigby]

g.  Approve Resolution 09-147, authorizing the Mayor to execute an Agreement with Reynolds Brothers for the Bagley/ Wildflower Detention Basin Project in an amount not-to-exceed $930,948.92 [Wendell Rigby]

a.  APPLICATION WITHDRAWN – Receive public input and consider for approval an Ordinance regarding a General Land Use Map Amendment for 3.1 acres from Low Density Residential to High Density Residential, and a Rezone from R-1-10B (Single-family Residential 10,000 square foot minimum lot) to R-3-6 (Multi-family Residential 6 units per acre density), for property located at 7480 South 2540 West, Wayne Harper, applicant [Tom Burdett]

b.  Receive public input and consider for approval an Ordinance 09-29, amending the West Jordan Municipal Code, Section 13-5E-3, regarding ‘Permitted and Conditional Uses in Commercial Zones (Land Use Table) to allow vehicle and equipment repair, limited an Laundry and dry cleaning, limited as permitted uses in the SC-3 zoning district; City-Wide; Foursquare Properties, Mark Isaac, applicant [Tom Burdett]

c.  Receive public input and consider for approval Ordinance 09-30, regarding Preliminary development Plan, and Appeal to condition to construct 6400 West; Wilshire Place, LC/Ken Olson,applicant [Tom Burdett]
