Job Description: Export Sales Representative

Job titleExport Sales Representative (1-year contract)

Reporting to: Export Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Look after customers from a certain region and/or customer type as agreed with Export Manager;
  • Answer all export customer enquiries within 24 h from receipt;
  • Provide accurate information about O’Neills products, services, production turnaround, brand etc to export customers;
  • Organising personalised designs for products that customersare interested in and any further amendments required till the design of the product is finalised and ready for production;
  • Provide price estimates based on product type, size breakdown and quantity;
  • Guide and support export customers into confirming details for an order – i.e. confirmation of design and quantities/size;
  • Provide final invoice for customer when the order is confirmed and send for approval with all available payment options;
  • Provide customer with clear information about what it is required from them (i.e. order confirmation, payment, delivery details, approval of any new embroideries etc) and what we can do for them(i.e. estimate dispatch time, updates on order progress, tracking information for shipped orders etc)
  • Chase payment and delivery details for orders if this information was not confirmed when the order was processed in production.
  • Organise order details – design, quantities/sizes, any relevant product or production details, required delivery date and send to Export Production Team for processing and scheduling;
  • Liaise with export production team for updates on order status, any enquiries, changes etc
  • Liaise with Export Manager to agree on strategy for development of sales & marketing operating procedures;
  • Maintaining a thorough existing exportcustomer database;
  • Coordinating the implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns for export events;
  • Organise product offers to promote sales to allocated customer base;
  • Conduct a customer satisfaction survey (2-3 weeks after dispatch date) to receive feedback from customers;
  • Help with development of indirect sales development as/when needed;
  • Producing reports regarding export sales/customers/products ;
  • Provide cover for sales staff while travelling on business or holidays

Experience & Skills Required

  • Degree in Business Studies preferred International Business;
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience gained in a dynamic sales environment, with preference focusing on export sales;
  • An intimate knowledge of sales operating procedures;
  • Knowledge of international sales environment and requirements;
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data exchanged with customer and production team;
  • Working in a dynamic environment while coordinating closely with Export Manager, other sales staff and export production team departments to ensure that export orders are confirmed, processed, paid and dispatched in time;
  • Knowledge of CRM databases used to support account management and export business development activity;

Based:The successful candidate will be based in Strabane.

Remuneration: A competitive remuneration package is available to the successful candidate.

Hours: 39-hour working week - Candidates must be flexible.
