Operative / Trestles, staging, ladders and stepladder will only be used if there is no safer alternative available. Trestles and staging will be used for short duration work only
Only authorised personnel will erect, modify or dismantle staging and trestles
Manual Handling and regular refresher training to be provided
Pre-use inspection, regular inspections
Adequate edge protection together with hand and intermediate rails must be incorporated into the staging/trestle
Both feet will be kept on the working platform at all times.
