BOOK UNDER PREPARATION

Theories of Value from Adam Smith to Piero Sraffa

The book deals with the theories of Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Karl Marx and Piero Sraffa. It has six chapters including Introduction and Conclusion with one chapter each on the four theorists. In the chapters on the four theorists, I first present my interpretation of their theories of value, and then from this perspective I critique all the major interpreters of their theories, from their contemporaries to our contemporaries, and end with their brief intellectual biographies.
