Rachel Carson Birthday Book Club
Rachel Carson’s Birthday Book Club provides a great opportunity to celebrate reading and add to the collection of our fabulous library! Book donations can be made at any time and for any occasion.
Your gift book will have a special label placed inside the front cover, stating that it was given to the Rachel Carson Library in honor of your child. In addition, your contribution will be acknowledged in the school newsletter and the Birthday Book Club Bulletin Board located just inside the library. A Birthday Book Club Celebration will be held at the end of the year in honor of all the students who donated books.
Here’s how it works . . .
· Select a hardbound book from the wish-list Mrs. Daniels has created on Amazon.com.
· Or purchase a book on the list from a local bookstore. If you choose to purchase from a book- store, please let Mrs. Daniels know so that we can remove that title from Carson’s wish list.

· Complete the shipping directions. If you have the book sent to school, please be sure I know your child’s birthday, First and last name, classroom teacher.
