The annual Sports Meeting of Shandong University School of Medicine is coming!

The international students are kindly invited to attend the Sports Meeting.

We are looking forward to seeing a new energetic you at the playground!

Date

May 20, 2012(Sunday of Week 14; whole day with noon break)

Place

Playground, volleyball ground and basketball ground in Baotuquan Campus

Group

Belongs to Students Group (play with Chinese students)

Application

1.  No grade limits (Grade 2007¥2008¥2009¥2010¥2011¥2012);

2.  Two teams-Male/Female (Manager-Jill Wang);

3.  Twenty-five athletes for one team at most;

Two competitions for each athlete at most;

Three athletes for each competition at most

Competitions (Students Group)

1.  Male-9 items

100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 3000 meters, 4×100 m relay, long jump, triple jump (hop, step and jump), shot put

2.  Female-8 items

100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters, 1500 meters, 4×100 m relay, long jump, shot put

3.  Team-3 items

l  Group skipping- 2 swing the rope (generally tall and strong boy students), 10 athletes (5 males & 5 females) skip one by one in route “8” for 5-10 minutes

l  Group shuttlecock kicking-10 athletes for 5/10 minutes (5 males & 5 females)

l  Three-leg Jumping (steepchase relay)- 20 athletes in 10 groups(10males &10 females)

Regulations

1.  All the athletes have to compete with the athlete numbers (get before games according to the names of the applicants);

2.  The reporting time of all events is 20 minutes earlier before the start of the competition. Anyone late for competitions for 10 minutes will be considered as withdrawal.

3.  All the athletes have to bring the student ID cards (booklet issued by CIE) as valid certifications;

4.  Individual events-first 6 positions are marked as 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points;

Group events- Double marked;

For the athlete who attends and finishes without ranking, 0.5(1) point is marked into the total marks of the team group

Rewards and Punishments (Students Group)

1.  Individual: First three athletes will be awarded certificates immediately;

2.  Group: First three teams will be rewarded awards immediately;

3.  Athletes and groups which cheating or masquerade, if confirmed, will be disqualified; group marks returned to zero; circulated a notice of criticism by the school

Enrollment

CR from each grade should submit the application form to AOTU before 3:00 pm May 5, 2012 (Friday).
