CONSENT TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SPECIAL RATING AREA IN TERMS OF SECTION 22 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT: MUNICIPAL PROPERTY RATES ACT, 6/ 2004 & THE CITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT BY-LAW, 6118/2004

The City of Cape Town has received an application to establish a City Improvement District (CID) within the special rating area indicated in annexure "A" to this consent form. Annexure A indicates both the geographical boundary of the proposed CID and a summary of the proposed Business Plan. The main objectives in establishing the CID are to improve and upgrade the area.
