Assistant Caretaker – Part Time

Required to start as soon as possible

Salary: Grade LBR 2 Scale point 11 – Actual salary will be £10,198 gross per annum

Hours: 20 hours per week for 52.14 weeks per year (10am – 2pm, Monday – Friday)

Downshall Primary School is a successful school serving a diverse social and ethnic community.

Our new Assistant Caretaker will:

·  Possess excellent maintenance and caretaking skills;

·  Have good DIY skills including painting & decorating;

·  Have a good knowledge of security, health and safety;

·  Be able to work using their own initiative and alongside the Site Manager.

Initially the post will be offered on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2018 with a probable extension following a review during the Summer term.
