YI LONG COURT AT THE PENINSULA SHANGHAI INTRODUCES “FIVE FORTUNES” DIM SUM, A GOURMET SELECTION OF CONTEMPORARY CANTONESE LUNCH DELICACIES

Authentic Cantonese dim sum is re-imagined in a delicious, modern style at Yi Long Court. Lunchtime diners can savour the new Five Fortunes Dim Sum, a selection of five steamed delicacies prepared with imported premium ingredients, including foie gras, caviar, fresh lobster, abalone and Wagyu beef.

Chef Lai Wing Koon, Yi Long Court’s experienced Executive Dim Sum Chef, has created an expertly crafted assortment of deluxe dim sum treats combining fresh premium beef, seafood and vegetables that are lightly steamed in traditional Cantonese style. Chef Lai began his career at The Peninsula Hong Kong, and has spent nearly two decades perfecting authentic dim sum flavours with unique, purely natural ingredients and without adding oils or seasonings.

The tantalising Five Fortunes choice for Cantonese dim sum gourmands includes the steamed cuttlefish and water chestnut dumpling with premium XO sauce made from a special recipe; the steamed Wagyu beef dumpling with foie gras; or the steamed siu mai with whole abalone. Alternatively, diners can select the steamed, premium prickly sea cucumber dumpling with minced shrimp and topped with caviar; or the steamed Australian lobster dumpling with bamboo shoots. Luckily for those who find it too difficult to choose between such tempting delicacies, a combination plate featuring all Five Fortunes can be ordered.

Each Five Fortunes Dim Sum dish is individually priced (from RMB 188 to RMB 368), and the divine Five Fortunes Cantonese Dim Sum Combination is priced at RMB 438.
