Prize Money and Prize Giving Ceremony:

European All Around Champions (Classic, Western, Driving) - total € 1.800,- (3 each € 600.- = 1.-3. place 300/200/100)

European Champions Mono-Title (Dressage, Show Jumping, Classic Pleasure*), Reining, Trail, Western Pleasure) - total € 3.600,- (6 each € 600,- =1.-3. place 300/200/100) ( *) Classic Pleasure = Tryout ). Prize giving for individual classes: European Championships at the Final Prize Giving Ceremony, all other classes at the end of the competition. Prize Money will be given during the Final Prize Giving Ceremony.

A-Intern.: Ribbons: 1.-6. Place;

European & Vice-European Champion: Sash, 3.-8. Place: Rosettes. 1.-3.Place Medals

RULES AND REGULATIONS

ECAHO Green Book 2006 ( go to „online office“), FEI (Féderation Équestre International) and ÖTO (Bundesfachverband; Austrian National Equestrian Federation).

Exact detailed time table and order of classes will be available on the day at the show office.

For the conduct of the tests no. 2, 3, 28, 29, 30, 31, 37, 38 (Show Jumping, Cross, Marathon Driving) a minimum number of 10 entries are a pre-condition.

Cancellation, merging of classes as well as changing of order are at the discretion of the organiser. Late entries are possible.

All participating horses need to have liability insurance and need to be free of any contagious disease. Vaccination certificate (according to the FEI Veterinary Regulations), national registration as competition horse, horse passport and valid national rider licence have to be presented at the show office.

The competition is open for purebred Arabians, registered at birth in a WAHO recognized Studbook. Any horse registered at birth in a non-European Studbook has to be registered in the studbook of an European ECAHO Member country since 1st January 2006 until the date of the show, geldings included.

For all driving competitions, carriages and harness must be according to FEI and USEF.(US Nat. Equ. Fed)

Exception: Marathon carriages only in Obstacle Driving and Marathon. No groom in Pleasure Driving (only header)

Horses and riders can qualify at the A-level event for the European Championships, except in Cross and Marathon.

In the Mono-Competitions Dressage, Show Jumping, Classic Pleasure, Reining, Trail and Western Pleasure, the 10 best horse rider combinations of the qualifying classes qualify for the Finals.

No horse is allowed to go Cross or Marathon in A and EM level.

For the All Around Champion, Type & Conformation (rider/driver has to present the horse in competition outfit) as well as one more sport discipline (see table) is obligatory. Any further contest will add to the final result.

ECAHO All Around Champions are possible for Classic, Western and Driving.
Champion will be the horse, not the horse/rider/driver combination

The winner of the All Around Champion will be the horse who, with the same rider/driver achieved the best total points after adding up all contests of his category

If two or more horses have equal points in the final ranking (ex aequo), the champion will be decided by the higher points in the Type & Conformation class.

If an All Around Champion horse is not present at the price giving ceremony, the All Around Champion title will be given to the second placed horse.

The ranking obtained in each class of every level is proportional to the number of competitors.

Maximum number of points is 10, regardless of the number of participants.

No rider is allowed to present more than three horses per class

No horse is allowed to participate in more than three (for Classic) or six (for Western) classes per day, with the exception of the Type & Conformation.

Entering at different Levels: Horses may be entered for A + European Championship, and equal Mono levels

Classes in which horses of different categories (Classic, Western, Driving) are judged together, the ranking list will be divided according to the categories and points allocated.

1.4Special Requirements for the European Championships

(Classic, Western & Driving)

a)Condition of Entry

International Sport Event open to horses that are registered at birth in the WAHO recognised studbook of an European ECAHO Member Country. Horses registered at birth in a non-European ECAHO Member Country have to be continuously registered in the WAHO recognised studbook of an European ECAHO Member Country from January 1st of the year of the event until the date of the event.

b)Titels

European Champion All Around:
Classic, Western, Driving

European Champion (Mono):
Dressage, Show Jumping, Classic Pleasure
Trail, Reining, Western Pleasure

The titles are given to the horse (not rider/driver).

c)Qualification criteria

Any ECAHO A-Level event is regarded as qualification event.

Any official riding class, recognized by the FN/Official Western Riding Organisation of the country, which is of the same level as ECAHO A-Level, is regarded as qualification.

Any positive result achieved under 1 or 2 is to be presented with the entry form.

Horse and rider do not have to qualify together, they may qualify separately.

Cross and Marathon, qualification needs to be achieved at least 1 week prior to the event.

For All Around Classic qualification is required in Dressage or Show Jumping.

For All Around Western qualification is required in Reining or Trail.

For All Around Driving qualification is required for Dressage Driving.

Proof of Qualification is required by the, official Equestrian Federation Western Riding Organisation or Show Office.

e)License:

Any horse participating in the European Championships must be registered with a National Equestrian Federation (FN) as competition horse valid for the year in which the event takes place.

Any rider participating needs to have a license for competition (i.e. the license needed for starting in an official competition in his country), valid for the year in which the event takes place, issued by a National Equestrian Federation of the country he comes from.

f)Minimum number of entries necessary for the European Championships:
MONO Title:

For each class a minimum number of 5 entries must be received, or otherwise the class will not be regarded as European Championships class.

To give any European Mono Champion title, a minimum of three (3) countries must have entered.

ALL AROUND Title:

To give any European Championships Allround title, a minimum of five (5) countries must have entered in European Championship Allround classes.
