The University residences in Como city do not arrange accommodations for temporary stays and most of them are usually available between the second half and the end of September.

From July 10, students who will be confirmed their final enrolment in the assessment test will be sent some addresses of youth hostels and hotels they can refer to by themselves and a special accommodation package at a Bed&Breakfast in Como city from August 31 to Sept. 12 included, which they can book directly at the B&B upon availability.

Alternatively, and upon the University residence service availability of places, students admitted to Leonardo or Bovisa campuses may reserve University accommodation in Milan and commute to Como campus by train to attend the Two-Weeks course.

Candidates’ identification process

The official start date of all students’exchangeprogrammes at Politecnico di Milano will be the day of their enrolment in the study programme they have been accepted to. If students wish that the Two-weeks Italian language course is included in the official duration of their exchange programme, they must be identified by a Studesk of the Politecnico di Milano and then enrol to the exchange programme by themselves through the Online services.

Students accepted to the Two-Weeks Italian language test can identify on Sept. 1st in the language testing room at COMO campus or at the Studesk of the campus where they will study before Sept. 1st (if students make their exchangeprogramme at a campus other than Como campus, they are recommended to contact their Studesk to check its availability to identify them in the week before the start of the Two-weeks course).

Non-EU citizens who have been confirmed the registration for the Two-Weeks Italian language test needing to apply for the Italian study visa may write an e-mail to studesk Como between July 10 and 14.

Students may enclose this to the original letter of acceptance that they have been sent or will be sent by their Studesk. Studesk Como WILL NOT send any original letters by post.
