Deliberative Democracy: Connecting Research and Practice

The Deliberative Democracy: Connecting Research and Practiceworkshop will be held over three days and we will be working together to achieve five workshop outcomes.
Key workshop outcomes:
- Set the context for deliberative democracy in theory and practice
- Build mutual understanding between researchers and public participation practitioners
- Experience different deliberative techniques
- Establish and promote the potential of deliberative democracy and public participation (especially to contribute to the resolution of complex challenges of our time)
- Determine priorities for further research and recommend proposals for funding
