March 7th committee meeting
We met with Jim Nabors
·Jim is looking into adding smoothie maker to the destination station in cafeteria
·Monitors in cafeteria
-running wiring over spring break (10 monitors will be installed in may)
·To-go box survey has been created. We can send it out as soon as exec approves it
·If Coca-Cola can fund the to-go boxes, it would only be able to fund about 250 of them, and this may not cover all of the students
-we are uneasy about giving out free ones to some students when some students would have to pay
·Jim is seeing if there are any dietary needs for food service workers (he doesn’t think there are any)
·Dining website was down (but it’s fixed now)
·He’s asking about dietary needs of food service workers (doesn’t think there are any dietary needs)
·Looking into getting an RSVP for the food service workers

Abigail booked the Alumni pavilion for March 28th (she turns in money when she fills out the form and takes it back)
Chymia and I met with Stephanie McBrayer on Wednesday
We talked about gender neutral housing
·housing is assigned based on students assigned gender identity
·people have talked about gender neutral housing on sga every year
what would the application look like?
Chymia is brainstorming what the application would look like and
She thinks we should define what gender neutral housing is and make a proposal
new hall is a possibility
-community style bath dorms would be more challenging for gender neutral housing
I talked to Haley Harp about this bc I know she was looking into it last year, and she recommended that I talked to Cindy Lea from honors about it.
We talked about allowing students who work for housing to have access to
-we need a certain amount of basic meal plans
so we probably can’t change this until 2022, which is when the contract with Aramark expires
idea that seniors and juniors living in new hall should have access to apartment meal plans
Stephanie McBrayer really liked the overnight program. She thinks it’s a good idea for housing to partner with admissions for this program.
Jose is setting up a meeting with admissions to talk about the overnight program for perspective students
Look into extending caf breakfast hours

Reggie and marco are talking to tj to see when they could meet with craigseger (he is in the housing department) about printer
