Re: Proposal for Feasibility Report Regarding New Productivity Software

The following is a proposal to conduct a feasibility study for the need to implement new productivity software to cut costs and enhance our efficiency. The proposal contains background information on our need for new software, an outline of the proposed work schedule, my qualifications, and a schedule. This study should give us an idea of the products on the market and weather a second study to evaluate all our software should be done.

Need for New Productivity Software

Our company is growing at an exponential rate and our current productivity suite is no longer capable of growing with us. We need software that will allow our employees to be as efficient as possible in their daily work. This includes the use of a word processor, a spreadsheet program, a slide show program and a media publishing program.

Benefits of New Productivity Software

In this report I will document the following

Microsoft Office benefits to Maxus Co

OpenOffice.org benefits to Maxus Co

Word Perfect benefits to Maxus Co

The cost of each software suite

Which suite is best suited to Maxus Co

Installation time/cost

Upkeep cost

Learning Curve
