Updates
1.  Next Meeting: / Next Meeting: Friday, December 1, 1-2 p.m. in Jones Hall, Room 3049, Training and Development Conference Room. If you are not able to attend, please send a representative. Will confirm date with email prior to scheduled date.
2.  Progress to date / Donna reviewed the following and provided progress updates:
Communications Team: YES Website continues to grow with new materials. Fall Newsletter was distributed with a focus on MyYSU. Information regarding Payroll changes will be forthcoming in future editions and with specific messages identifying the changes.
Advancement Team:
Used data hygiene service to clean addresses and data in Banner. Used Banner data to send out Annual Fund drive appeal requests.
Finance Team:
Continue to offer Finance Self Service sessions for those that are hired to new positions or need refresher. Developed a WebFocus Assistant class in preparation for ODS training in November. Members from Advancement and Student Admissions Teams will be invited as well.
Technical Team:
Continue to work on migrating and loading data for new implementations and supporting those systems already implemented.
HR/Payroll:
Team processed its first parallel test in October. Results are better than expected. Further parallel testing will continue in November. Data will be available through the Portal. Provided demo to team members. Team is considering implementing Webtime entry in July.
Student
Preparing for Admission Go Live in October. Admissions was delayed from September until October. Will be working with SOAR offices to prepare for use of Banner to generate letters in November. Student Team has been oriented to the registration process in Banner. The Student Team will be working on developing the catalog, schedule, academic history, etc., so that training can take place for academic departments and advisors. Discussion of forming a working team with members of the Training, Student and Communications to disseminate information in a timely manner.
Financial Aid
Processed Student Excellence Awards for the first time in Banner! Held special Mail Merge Class for departments that send information from Banner to personalized letters.6.
Luminis
Portal has been up and running since July with official launch of portal on August 28. Plans to update the look of the Portal are underway with go live of Phase II scheduled for June 2007.

Old Business
1. Document development / Shared Banner documentation notebook for review. Reviewed the YES website with new team members to show where the documentation is available online.
New Business
1. New members / Welcome new members!
2. Reviewed FY2006 Training Evaluations / Distributed Summary of Class Evaluations from July 1-October 31, 2006 for review with team members. Discussed plans for future training sessions.
3. Demonstration / Previewed payroll and advisement self-service screens.
