Fire Building for Families
Saturday, Nov. 7, 1 - 2:30 p.m.
Location: Farm Entrance, 1701 Charlton St. W., West St Paul
Bring your family to practice the skills necessary for building an outstanding campfire. We’ll talk about fire building materials and design, as well as how to start and tend a fire. With a few tips and simple shortcuts, you’ll be starting your fire from a single match, or better yet, a single spark.
Cost: $7/$20 family, Member Rate: $5/$15 family

Woolly Bears: Duck, Duck, Quack
Saturday, Nov. 7, 10 - 11:30 a.m.

International Wolf Center Presents - Wolves at Our Door
Tuesday, Dec. 8, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Farm Entrance, 1701 Charlton St., West St. Paul
This evenings program will help us better understand issues surrounding the return of wolves to state management. A representative from the International Wolf Center will cover such topics as wolf biology, behavior, pack dynamics, predator/prey relationships, habitat loss and challenges wild animals face in today’s world. The program is recommended for children of elementary school age and older.

Explore the Night
Friday, Dec. 18, 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Winter nights are full of wonder – if you know where to look! Join DNC naturalists to learn about the heroes and villains of the winter sky in the inflatable planetarium, find out how animals survive the cold, meet a night-time predator, and try out a variety of activities to as you explore this darkest time of year.
