KIWI LAUNCH EXTRAVAGANZA - Wagadu #2

A Grand cross-cultural event - so loungy and so funky you will melt or explode.
Behind the event are 3 main creative forces:
1- KIWIS CAN FLY is a new clothing collection produced by Julia Lahme,
The idea is to mix fashion with contemporary art, graphic design and graffitti.

2- SOCIOS is the brand new Thursday club at Luftkastellet,
The ultimate "hjemmestue" (Danish for Lounge) setup - warmer and cooler
than anything Copenhagen clubsters have ever seen.

led by the HUMAN crew, also producing the annual Copenhagen DISTORTION - a celebration of Cph Nightlife.

For the launch of her KIWI CAN FLY project - Julia Lahme hosts a grandiose happening:
--> a fame-fashion-show (models: Iben Hjejle, Shirly, Silja Scharndorf, Lise Wesrzynthius,
Christina Rosendal, Miss Mokupa, Stine Larsen, Janus Bakrawi, modeller fra Unique m.fl)
--> a DISTORTION-style gathering of creative Copenhagen forces:
Party-DJs (Tolstrup + Typhoon m.fl.), Street culture (Per Vers, Husk Mit Navn, Rasmoney),
and various pop personalities (Karen, Fatman, Katja Kean, Frank Hvam).
For the weekly SOCIOS club - Kenneth Bager and the Luftkastellet boys have made a master lounge filled with funky elements: a hjemmestue for experienced clubsters.
--> Famous guest-DJs, flashy 4-course menu, art-concepts from Kunstakademiet,
and funny ideas of their own (like broadcasting the DJ-music on a pirate radio channel).
WAGADUDU #2 is the fusion of those two initiatives.
--> Mixing Grafitti-heroes with Ethnic film-directors, mixing Advertising Executives with
Bonghoveder som troede de var på vej til Christiania, and mixing young party trendsters with old-school kultur-mafia.
"WAGADUDU - 7 nights in all positions and directions"
is produced by HUMAN Productions in a friendly collaboration with Colonel (roi du conceptuel).
In short, expect:
A new fashion collection, an off-beat show, a private-party atmopshere,
Champagne, Chai-tea and måske en lille kramm fra mester Lindberg,
models from Unique & from Kgl Teater, Graffitti art, ex-porn-star-DJs,
and nightlife-equilibrism by Copenhagen's party-champions.
