The NAB and SAARF negotiating an extension of AMPS into 2015
In considering the best interests of the media and marketing sector, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the South African Audience Research Foundation (SAARF) have collaborated in order to ensure that the All Media and Product Survey (AMPS) contract is extended to 2015.

TAMS Panel after the 03rd March 2014 Updates
Following the TAM panel expansion from 1 600 to 2 500 weekly reporting households, completed in December 2013, updates were applied to the TAM panel data to reflect the changes in the South African Television Population and align with how the TAM data is currently being traded:
The TAMS Universe was updated from the AMPS 2012A to the AMPS 2013A household and individual Meter Universes. DSTV audited subscriber figures for March 2013 were used to update the DSTV Universe.
The TAMS weighting regime was adjusted where each weighting variable was broken out into Children (Ages 4 to 14 years) and Adults (Ages 15+).

The SAARF RAMS 2014 Release No. 2
The South African Audience Research Foundation (SAARF) invites everyone who would like to attend the forthcoming SAARF RAMS 2014 Release 2 on Thursday, 26 June 2014at the Bryanston Country Club.
The fieldwork for this wave was conducted from the third week of January 2014 to the first week of May 2014.

The South African Audience Research Foundation’s training will cover the introduction to SAARF and all SAARF research (AMPS®, RAMS® and TAMS®). The Introductory Training Seminars are not only directed at new users of the SAARF-series of products, but also at those who feel that they would benefit from a ‘refresher’.
