Course Description: This 2-credit online course provides training through enhanced video experiences along with experience in other areas related to leadership, including identifying personal strengths, envisioning change, team building, and advocacy.

Objectives: By the end of this course, students should be able to:

●Describe their own leadership style and their role on a team

●Evaluate the leadership style of others and synthesize an approach to combine own strengths with those of others

●Apply key points from leadership bestsellers to their current and future lives

●Utilize communication skills to discuss ideas for change and outreach

●Develop and implement an outreach or advocacy program

Student Assessment & Grade Calculation:

The course will utilize a system of contract grading. Your effort in the course will determine your grade. For each letter grade, the minimum requirement has been defined. Not meeting any criteria will reduce your grade to the next level. Furthermore the amount of effort you put into the course will determine the amount you gain from this course personally.

The following approach will be used to determine letter grades:
