Auto Body Advanced

This course is designed to be an introductory course to the skills and knowledge needed to perform auto body techniques. Students will experience various metal finishing and refinishing techniques involved in auto body repair through delivery of the I-CAR enhanced curriculum and hands on experiences. Students will also learn to evaluate their work and the time required for a quality job for appraisal purposes. Fabrication, custom painting and design, restoration, and body kits may also be involved in student projects. Students may also have the opportunity to compete in the SkillsUSA collision repair contest at the state and national level continuing this programs winning tradition.
