Implement assessment plan for college-wide and program student learning outcomes on a three year basis and post results on college web sites. / Robin Danzak is a member of the CHP Assessment Committee and will oversee SLP’s role in this. / Ongoing; a set of artifacts will be evaluated at the end of the Spring semester, 2017. / The CHP and SLP Assessment Committees have already completed plans and are currently in the first stage of implementation.
Use results of assessment to improve program curricula and student outcomes. / Rhea Paul will work with RDanzak to ‘close the loop’ on the first phase of assessment. We will consider data at our Dep’t. retreat this year. / June 1, following Dep’t. retreat. / We have closed the loop on assessment data from 2017 and 2018.
Support faculty development related to assessment teaching, and curriculum / Rhea Paul will provide Dep’t funds to allow faculty to attend Continuing Ed. Develop CE programs and other activities to generate funds for research support / Ellen Massucci is the Department CE Coordinator. She has arranged for a CE event for this semester. Any revenue will be used to support Faculty Development. / This year’s event will take place in May. The aim is to have two SLP events/year, and to develop IP events, as well. / Accomplished for 2018. Two addional CE activities are planned for AY 18-19.
Develop a CHP research committee to plan IP activities and to support faculty and student research / Ciara Leydon has begun several interprofessional efforts with EX and. RP is serving on the CHP committee to plan IP to support research.
