ICSL Senior Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 PM by Tom McMahon
1- Roll Call:
ICSL was represented by Tom McMahon, Mike Cieseilka, Walt Wahl, Dave Mease, Courtney Wodotinsky and Bob Sterner. All teams were represented with the exception of Norristown, Quakertown and Buckingham.
2- Prior Season Awards:
Division championship awards will be presented at the Sept. General Meeting. Teams receiving awards are asked to have someone in attendance for the presentation.
3- Games Commissioner:
1- Game schedules will be posted online Monday, Aug. 20. Hard copies were distributed for review as well. Email Walt with any schedule conflicts, issues or special requests.
2- Teams were reminded that once a field was closed, it can not be re-opened that day. This includes fields closed by the club’s Youth Coordinator.
3- In the event of severe inclement weather, ICSL will shut down all games rather than leave it up to individual clubs. This should help eliminate any confusion about the status of fields and referee’s showing up for games that have been canceled.
4- No games will be rescheduled after Memorial Day, 2013.
5- A game reschedule fee schedule will be introduced this season and was presented. Team making the request is responsible for the fee.
4- Registrar:
1- Currently, there are 6 teams registered in the Premier and Ultra divisions, 8 in Over-30 and 7 in Over-40. Premier and Ultra divisions will play 15 games each (10 fall, 5 spring), O-30 will play 14 games (12 fall, 2 spring and O-40 will play 12 games (10 fall, 2 spring). Games will begin Sept. 7 & 9
5- EPSA:
1- Referee fees for 2012-2013 is $174 split between both teams.
2- Yellow cards will be tracked via ICSL. Only red cards will be reported to EPSA.
3- New teams will be issued Sports Manager login from ICSL. Teams were also asked to check for duplicate player registrations.
6- Grievance:
1- Bob O’Neil asked that all teams make sure email addresses are up to date as that’s the primary mode of communication.
2- Grievance list will be posted on the web site. Suspensions issued in spring carry over to the fall season. Players receiving suspensions who play in multiple leagues must sit the next scheduled game(s) regardless of the league in which the suspension was issued.
3- Suspended players must be left off of game-day rosters for the next game as proof of suspension served. In the event a pass being returned after a suspension has been served is in transit, a release will be sent via email. The player will need to submit the release and sign the line up in front of the referee. A release is good for 2 weeks.
7- Peter Kennedy Scholarship:
Teams were reminded that scholarships are available to any high school seniors who meet the scholarship qualifications.
8- Competition:
Play will begin Friday, Sept. 7 for O-30 and Sunday, Sept. 9 for the other divisions.
9- New Business:
1- New teams to the League will be relegated to the Premier division as has been done in the past.
2- Players not in good standing with a club should be reported to ICSL if a reasonable settlement can’t be reached. EPSA should be copied as well.
3- Passes issued prior to 2007 are not valid for the upcoming season. Transfers require a new Pass and A-form. Player ID number will remain the same.
4- Player roster size is 23 maximum. O-30 can roster (2) players27 and older, O-40 (2) 37 and older. Sports Manager must only list active players.
5- Game-day rosters can only list 18 players max.
6- Extended office hours available for Thursday evenings 7:30-9:00 PM by appointment only. Appointments must be made before 3:30 PM on Wed.
7- New teams will need to submit the following:
a. Cost worksheet for all registered primary and secondary players
b. A-form all new/transferred players
c. Liability form for all players
d. Player passes with pictures attached (2/player)
e. Check made out to ICSL for all fees
f. Liability forms are due every season for every player
g. Separate passes for secondary players will be issued
h. Secondary players are eligible to play at the same level or higher only.
