Sizzling Hot Event Raises $35,000 for Families in Need

Deliver the Dream’s 2nd annual Red Hot and In Style event is a success.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Deliver the Dream, a South Florida-based nonprofit that organizes retreats for families experiencing a serious illness or crisis hosted its second annual Red Hot and In Style event featuring some of Ft. Lauderdale’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes on February 21 at Jet Runway Café.

These philanthropists of all ages, backgrounds and careers with such big hearts put themselves on the auction block to raise funds for Deliver the Dream families. Exciting date packages included sky diving, flying lessons, International Polo Club tickets, paddle boarding, Rihanna concert tickets and VIP Miami Heat and Florida Panthers tickets. Private jets set the back drop for this event where guests enjoyed a variety of delectable hors d’oeuvres while sipping on complimentary cocktails and bidding on the bachelors/bachelorettes and their dates.

Event sponsors include Dalland Properties, The Rubin Group, Alison Wiener, Bluegreen Corporation, City Furniture, Forté Properties, the Floridian Community Bank, Laurie Finkelstein Reader Real Estate Team, Miami Dolphins, SPS Sports and Promotional Specialties, ricky stern photography, Friends of Deliver the Dream and GNC Pawn. Double Eagle Distributing was the event’s beer sponsor. Gold Coast and Ft. Lauderdale magazines were the event’s media sponsors.

Proceeds from event will go directly to Deliver the Dream’s Family Retreat Program, which helps families who have a child or a parent living with an illness or going through a crisis.
