Romaniabenefitsoftransitionalmeasures relating to usage, after the accession date, of the plant protection product stocks (PPP) containing activesubstanceswithdrawnfromEU marketinaccordancewithEuropean Commission Regulation no.2024/2006publishedin theOfficialJournalof theEuropean Communities no.L384of29.12.2006 The 12-month grace period granted to Romania on the base of the CE Regulation no. 2024/2006 for the plant protection products containing substances: amitraz, atrazine, benomyl, endosulfan, kasugamycin and simazine expire on December 31, 2007. Since January 1, 2008, in accordance to the law, usage of the products containing these active substances is prohibited
